It has been since schooldays that I'd done my existential reading, and getting back to the days of Camus, and giving a good thought to if this is all there is, why live, was like taking a long overdue hot bath. It is a very refreshing moment to step out and face a new day with clean eyes.

This book is just not my cup of tea. I read it for a book club and would probably never have read it on my own. I did glean some valuable nuggets, just not enough for a whole book, even one this short. I probably could have gotten the same out of a magazine article.

This book catapults into one of my top ten favorites. Thanks Misha for recommending. It is such a fast read, only ~180 pages, and therefore....no one has an excuse to not read it:) I had never heard of it before, but apparently it is a long best selling classic. The author was a psychiatrist imprisoned in the Nazi concentration camps, suffering and witnessing the most unimaginable tortures.
