A fun read that had more cynicism and less swashbuckling than I anticipated. The Musketeers (there are actually four of them) are not quite the noble warriors I expected. In fact, they're more endearingly rogue than noble.

J'ai pris cela en place dans les années à Paris plusieurs dos et même si je savais l'histoire des films, j'ai trouvé la lecture de l'original français tout à fait une balade. Je suis toujours méfiant de lire des traductions. Même si beaucoup sont étonnamment bien fait, j'ai découvert que quelque chose d'intrinsèque est souvent perdu à moins que le traducteur est vraiment bon à leur travail. Personnellement, je pense que la littérature espagnole souffre le plus de cette maladie dans l'hémisphère

Absolutely lovely.
Technically, two stars means that it's an okay book. This is an okay book. The Count of Monte Cristo was by far a more enjoyable read. I mostly found myself reading this book because I felt like I had to finish it after I started it.
