This one was sooo good - I think I liked it better than Outlander. Except for the very first part and the very last part that took place in 1968 which I found a little tedious. The bulk of the book though was fantastic - couldn't put it down. I was actually in tears by the end...I absolutely LOVE Jamie and Claire's love. :)

I watched the TV series, first season. I had read the book years ago. That made me want to read the second book. It was a little too long for my tastes, but the story is really engaging.

I have very similar complaints about this book as the previous one: I think the book is well-written and the idea is interesting, I just don't like the characters. Although, I am getting used to them at this point and I want to keep reading to see what happens with them. I liked the introduction of Brianna and Roger. That story arc was more interesting to me.

Time to institute *rules*. Otherwise I will read all 1000000000 pages of this series in the next month. And I will read (and do) nothing else.
