Another terrific Atwood. The ending fell a bit flat for me, I guess I was expecting something different and I was a little bit bummed. But Atwood tells a terrific story, and her observations are so true to life that I don't see how you can go wrong by picking this one up. Blind Assassin was even better tho, but I highly recommend both.

Tragic! Grace Marks got caught up in a situation that led to the death of two people in 1843. This is a historical fact. Hated the beginning. B-O-R-I-N-G. I really didn't care how Dr. Jordan preferred his eggs, or reading about all those stuffy doctors and ministers, all of whom I had difficulty keeping straight. Reading the first hundred pages was agony.
Then it "got good."
I was dying to know if Grace was innocent or not. Though Atwood's writing style is thick and laborious to plow through, I quickly read through the pages.
