What Members Thought

This is a book about a doctor who decided to make a difference in a huge way. He is clearly a very dedicated, clever and innovative man, who has become an expert in HIV/AIDS and TB, the evil twins of poverty, and found ways to push back the frontiers of treatment in poor countries where help was desperately needed. He also doesn't seem to need to sleep.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. This read like a novel...not too technical. If you've been to Haiti this is a must.

This is very well written - definitely not a fast read - some parts flow fast than others - it's really a testament to an incredible human - I enjoyed learning so much about TB and Multi Drug Resistant (MDR) TB.
