Initially, I thought this was going to be a book that shed some investigative/historical light on the cause of the former Pakistani President (military "coupist"--army general dictator) Zia al-Haqq's death on a military flight back in the 1980s, but soon realized it was rather a novel of comic & dark imaginations, conjured up by a very inventive & colorful novelist.
