What Members Thought
A re-read for me. I never did finish this series ( I think I only read through the 4th book). Anyway, I wanted to see if I still liked the Anne books better than the Emily books. I think the answer is yes.
I absolutely loved this book. I don't know why I never read it when I was a child. The story or Anne Shirley an orphan with a great imagination who gets in lots of inadvertant trouble. I love the characters of Anne, Matthew and Marilla. I'm definitely reading more of this series.

God, I loved this series as a kid (which was a long time ago). As a young adventurous tomboy in my youth, the character Anne, appealed to me greatly. She was the heroine of my youth. I recommend this classic book to any young girl who loves adventure, and loves to read.

What fun—wish I had read it sooner. Glad I had a challenge to nudge me to read a childhood classic. I have seen the movie but this was SO much more enjoyable!
How can I love this even more as an adult?
