I loved the atmospheric setting, the complex relations between the villagers and the invading Germans. I liked this, but I'm starting to think that all her books have the same ...concept... if not the same plot: bitter woman with a past wanders around France, cooks food for people, confronts past, falls in love, lives happily ever after. In France.
