It took a bit to get pulled into the book and the characters, but once that happened, it was a great story and read. The setting--Boston & Cambridge--was a real plus, as were the historical characters: Longfellow, Holmes, Lowell, and J. T. Fields--the publisher (Atlantic Monthly & many other literary works).There is also some great background & insight into Dante Aligheri's classic poem, The Inferno. ...more
