In considering a move to Australia, I am trying to learn as much about it as I can. This little side-book provides a decent trip to all the major cities and sites in the country. Bryson is a fun writer, but this book did get a little overly boorish in some places, and he didn't necessarily have the same interests I would if I were traveling there. I read/listened to this book as an audio book while traveling around Australia in a campervan. It is not the typical travel book focusing on sites to see and things to do. Instead, the author tells stories of his personal experiences traveling around Australia which are funny and interesting. I loved the book, it was an excellent pick for listening to while touring Australia.
