well here it is in the jist, it is a very good story, and it is well written but i couldn't help the thought that martel was just a bit too scattered... granted that the main charcter told the story that perhaps was not chronologically correct to his own recollection but what bothered me the most on the frist reading (yes, i am inclined to re read it) was the threads of the main segments of the story did not tie in toghether smoothly enough... it was as if martel (admittedly so) had written it i
