I thought this book was really good. It's the prequel to the DaVinci code, and kind of follows the same format.
Robert Langdon is called as there has been a murder, and it appears as though a secret society who holds a vendetta against the Catholic Church (the Illuminati)are involved. Robert tries to find them and thwart their plans by following clues within various pieces of art in Italy.

I actually like this better than The DaVinci Code. It's the same style, and the story is riveting. It's not a book that is meant to make you learn something about humanity or the world, but it is pure entertainment.
