The first third of the book is very slow. The sections on Lord Grey were particularly tedious and boring. The author included information and details that were not necessary to the plot and made the book overly long. However, I really enjoyed the last half of the book which focussed more on Jamie & Claire. I was disappointed that the book ended without really finishing, leaving some of the charaters at risk. After reading such a long book I would like to have a sense of closer for the book, even
