A very, very powerful story!!
This one was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I always get annoyed when the author seems to be congratulating the main character the whole time, but Louie Zamperini deserves to be congratulated. I felt like I was learning about my grandfather and his experience in the war as I was reading and I couldn't put it down.

The men in this book are BEYOND resilient--"SUPERMAN" is right [read the book to understand the reference]. I'm on disc 9 and wanted to sit in the parking lot this morning and finish it all.
Up to Disc 7--heart is STILL in my throat! All I could do not to take it in to work with me and listen to it on my pc--I want to hear that they live!!! [no spoilers please!!!!]
