Siddhartha left home as a young man to pursue his dream of spiritual enlightenment. After years of wandering with a friend in a band of ascetics they met the Buddha. His friend became a Buddhist monk, but Siddhartha was looking for something else.
The story doesn't end there but I don't want to tell the rest in a review. The path that Siddhartha took should resonate with what most of us have gone through in life.

I liked the plot and general idea of this book, but the sentence structure and wording just about drove me mad.
