I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Arthur Upfield's books and especially his Australian detective, Napoleon Bonaparte, known in his stories as Bony. Since I am a big fan of multicultural as well as historical mysteries, several years ago my sister-in-law introduced me to this series, which is set in 1930's Australia.
