I bought this books, because I had just booked a flight to Mumbai for a holiday and wanted to know more about the city. So, I started reading Shantaram and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to read, and as it is based on a true story it appeared to be almost too unbelievable to be true! I couldn't put this book down, I just wanted to carry on reading like there's no tomorrow...
