What Members Thought
Had I read this at an earlier time in my life, I would have liked it a lot more. It reminded me a lot of The Little Prince, with its traveling main character and desert setting and Big Symbolic Images and Philosophical Themes. I don't know why, but I never connected with the characters or the story.

A pretty story with a saccherine hollywood ending. And quite possibly a rip-off of St. Exupery's the Little Prince. Basically its a 'follow your dreams' and 'never give up' tale that is perfect for the Oprah generation.

This is a little too hokey for me. Probably meant for someone a bit more "spiritual".
