First time I've read this author. Interesting. I've liked the plot, the main charactor (a police officer) is not only the good guy, but a bit cliché ... I would try another book from this author's book. ...more

Kurt Wallander isn't Kalle Blomkvist, yet, but this is the first in the series. The politics aren't as cool as Stieg Larsen, yet, but this is something Mankell wrote 20+ years ago. Definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the series. ...more
