This book totally holds up as an adult. I'm sure I've read it as an adult, but it's been a while. I still love all the characters as much as I did when I was a kid and I still love the lessons it teaches about moral courage and standing up for what is right at risk of personal harm. Too bad the story is too short! I wish there's more development of the characters and a bit more of conflict inside the book. ...more
