This is a long and detailed autobiographical book about young Javier from El Salvador. His parents had already illegally immigrated to the USA. He anxiously awaited the time when he could join them. This tells of his harrowing experiences as he attempted to cross the land between his country his parents. It is also inspiring to learn of the selfless people who helped him. Warning there are some F-words. 4.5 stars!
