I am certain this was a case of a great book at the wrong time for me. I tried once, set it aside, and tried again, though it never really captured me. I kept with it, because the narrator on audio was fantastic to listen to, though I suspect there were just too many characters to feasibly keep up with for me at the moment on audio. I wasn’t honestly ever able to differentiate between Deacon King Kong and Sportcoat and Hot Sausage. I am certain this was my failing and would love to pick it up ag ...more
