This book needs a good editor so badly. She writes so beautifully, but the book can’t decide what it wants to be and I’m tired of wading through so much uninteresting information to find out.
I read this incredible book on audio. Fresh Water for Flowers was written by Valerie Perrin and it is really a one-of-kind, so-happy-to-have-read it, kind of book. I am a choosy reader and prefer reading books rated 4-5 * since the demands of my job includes evenings and weekends, and my free time has always been limited. But I've loved my jobs.

Cu indulgenta ii ofer doar 3 stelute. De ce? Pentru ca multe scene din carte sunt trase de par, e prea mult sex, prea mult adulter si multe pagini scrise acolo...ca sa fie. Violette este o femeie cu o personalitate contradictorie, dupa parerea mea. Nu pot sa spun daca am simpatizat-o sau dimpotriva. Cea mai bine construita parte este povestea Leoninei. By far one of the best Romance mysteries I have read in a while. The main character, Violette, has some interesting hang ups but it is easy to feel some empathy for her as she has a good heart and gets a rough deal from life itself.
