What Members Thought
"Your mileage may vary" is a caution that can subtitle pretty much any work of art, but the degree to which that is the case is very high for this translated French novella. Readers who are likely to get the best mileage are those with a strong taste for experimental fiction, surrealism, and dark feminist fables. I'm generally on board to various degrees with most of the above, but while elements of this were interesting, as a whole it totally failed to connect with me.
