Mostly fun a fun read, but based on the sex described I can’t recommend it to my teens, even though they enjoyed the movie already. The book was definitely better with the background of the characters’ thoughts. They were all so fully developed and the language was enhanced—the narrator was great!

I liked the book's novelty. It immersed me in a culture I knew nothing about. The writing was mediocre but the characters were vivid and kept the story going. This was a perfect summer read, nothing more, nothing less. Read it if you want something light with a unique setting.
