What Members Thought
Too depressing! I had to DNF this novel.
Beautiful writing but I got a bit tired of the dragging out of the main plot. By the last quarter of the novel, the ending becomes fairly evident and I just wanted the author to get in with it. The historical research was quite evident and yet also quite flawed in places.
