What Members Thought
Not my kind of a writing! I understand that the author is a noble prize winner for literature, but it doesn’t change the fact that I could not connect with the is book. The emotions were so robotic and didn’t really make sense to me.
These being said, my book club discussion ended up making more sense of this book for me as they explained their understanding of the writing. Nevertheless my rating is 2 stars as I did not enjoy neither the writing nor the plot.
