I wanted to like this book more, because this is a powerful and important book, discussing the topic that not many people (including me) know about. I learned a lot about the history of Ethopia, its war against Italy, and the struggle of the people to defend their country, especially the women.
But I can't enjoy reading it because the writing style is just too much for me. It is poetic, true, and some of it are really beautiful too, adding a brilliant touch to the book. But overall, it's a bit ov ...more
