Such a worthy, beautiful novel. 3 strong and brave women over a period of 3 different times in history including both World Wars and the 1960’s. Mostly set in France but includes a lot of espionage and spies to help liberate and keep France, Britain and the US, from falling to the Nazi’s.
Note this historical fiction novel was written by three women authors. I’m not sure how they split up their writing but perhaps it coincides with their being 3 prominent women characters.

I enjoyed the last two books I read by this author trio, but this one just didn't work for me. It was really quite boring. Just over halfway through and I realized I don't care about any of the characters. I skipped ahead to the last chapter and didn't care enough to read any more of it.
