I always enjoy a good Dick Francis horse-related mystery, and this one definitely meets the definition of a good read. In this one, a soldier who has returned from Afghanistan with a serious injury finds himself embroiled in a horse racing imbroglio that involves his horse trainer mother, some of her competitors, and several people he has just met. This is definitely a page-turner and the way the main character manages to survive is astounding.
