I found this book mostly boring. The premise is interesting: seemingly, a corpse is found in a room whose windows and door were locked and bolted from inside. And the solution when it finally comes is elegant and a surprising twist. But goodness, all that lies in between... My eyes glazed over as I read the annoyingly jaunty prose, the seemingly irrelevant ramblings of various characters whom I did not care about, the verring from what I took to be the main plot -- and I have to say the surprise
