This is an emotional book filled with grief, which means it is NOT my kind of book, but Emezi is such an amazing writer, I loved this despite myself. If you like that kind of book that "breaks you" and makes you feel all the feels, well, belly up to this bar! You will love this book!

Well, I need a hug. This is a deeply affecting story about living as your authentic self and while it has a definite ick factor, it still broke my heart in the end.
