Exhibit A in "don't finish books you're not enjoying."
I was reading this a few months ago and just could not get into it. It had all the hallmarks of a book I should love, and I wasn't disliking it, I just couldn't get into it.

This is a beautiful story. It is well written. I highly recommend it.
I love Adunni. She had a hard life,but persevered to make a better life for herself. This book will stay with me for a long time
