I don’t know how I feel about this novel. As the prompts at the end of the book pointed out, this book is a multigenerational novel similar in style to Red at the Bone and Homegoing. Perhaps this explains my very similar feelings about all three novels. I *want* to like them. I really do. But, I just didn’t enjoy them.
