This was a light holiday read. On an island, where it was warm. Sadly, all good things come to an end, but back to the book...It's very good for reading when you don't want to engage too much thought or effort, and can sit back and just indulge. A tale of thwarted love, some psychopathology and jealousy, with a background of historic travelling seed merchants to add interest.
