An excellent cozy mystery, this story is about a cookie baker and the celebration of her hometown's 250-year anniversary. When a recently returned man and his wife refuse to allow their mansion to be used for the celebration, as had been promised, no one expects that one of them will be murdered, and the other a suspect. There are several suspects, however, and lots of twists and turns in the plot until the real killer is revealed.
