I’m struggling with my rating for this book. It was very good, but maybe because I read so much hype about it, I’m not feeling like it was quite a 5 star read for me. Very close though.
It’s very impressive for a first novel, that’s for sure. The world of this book is so specific and so clearly drawn that you can see, hear, taste, smell everything. I loved that about it.
