What Members Thought
I found this to be dull and rambling and full of characters I didn’t really care about. There are lots of passages about the characters’ thoughts and backgrounds and insecurities that did nothing to move the plot forward or set the scene. It was all very distracting chaff. I like this new series. Matthew Venn is an interesting character and his status as an openly gay man allows some interesting confrontations in the story.
Never really read a mystery before. Wasn't too impressed...but it did keep me turning the pages in order to find out 'who done it'.
