4.5 This is a well researched beautiful novel. I liked the characters and the plot. What I didn’t like so much is the way the lengthy story is told with three POV, different timelines and too much hyphenation and use of italics that I believe slow the flow of reading. Having said that, I liked Nina’s roughness, valor and her good sense of humor even in the direst situations. I liked Jordan’s inquisitive mind and courage.
