What a joy it was to read this book! I literally could not put it down and just looked forward to reading it. The characters of jordan, Annalise, Nina, Ian, and Tony were so well drawn and their dialog was written so well. I loved all their interactions. The author also used italics when she wanted to show what they were thinking in situations and I thought that was interesting and different

Another great WW2 story by Kate Quinn. Absolutely loved Nina, the hard as nails Russian pilot, who grew up influenced by an extremely severe father and the harsh conditions of Lake Baikal in Siberia. Wonderful characters throughout, well written historical fiction, great resolution. Enjoyed getting lost in many internet rabbit holes, wanting to know more of the history and setting.
