I am not sure why I did not find this believable but I did not buy the story. I did keep reading though so there was something about it that keep me invested. too many weird twists seemed to be thrown in toward the end in an effort to have a shock or surprise, but did not really pan out in my mind. If a couple of the ideas of "secrets not told" had been continued without adding more to try to have certain people come out in the end as the "heroes?" then I may have found it more plausible.

Despite the fact that I pegged the perpetrator about 3/4 of the way through, this was an interesting character study with most of the characters displaying some socially redeeming qualities, including the murderer.
