Finished in one sit. A woman, survived by her husband and her mother after a deadly accident. The husband, now crippled, has to depend on his mother in law after the accident. 
Tho this whole book is narrated by her husband and stick to his POV, it's about her as much as her mother while revealing his true nature as a man and as a husband. Soon we figure out, who she is and how her husband perceived her.

This short novel was weird and uncomfortable, but it was never chilling or thrilling or gripping or any of the other words used to describe it in the blurbs.  This was just a slow and steady roll.  Each page revealed some new and unpleasant facet of Oghi's personality.  The guy is a sociopathic ass without the ability to show a drop of empathy for others.  There were a lot of passages about the fallibility of memory, and I thought that was leading up to something, but nothing came of it.  I susp ...more
