Shelves: ebook, crime
The characters all feel a little lost, like they've all forgotten their core motivations. Any series can sag in the middle, but these frequently feel like all new people when compared to the originally triology. Maybe I'm extra critical since I've read them all back to back. I complained about the jumble of plot lines in the first books but they did allow for in depth character development that is lacking here. I just love Lisbeth Salander! She is such a badass and at this moment in time, I’m all about cheering on a complicated badass. Another great twisty thriller, solid characters, great pacing, just escapist fun with a dark edge. And the #audio narrator is top notch.

It's too paint by the numbers and the weakest of the 5 in terms of plot and suspense. I did like the premise of Lisbeth in jail and the eulogy in the end. ...more
