What Members Thought
I loved the first two books in this series, and started this one with great anticipation. But somehow this one doesn't live up to its predecessors for me. The ambience is the same; India (Kolkata) in 2021, the author's humour is still there, and Sergeant Banerjee is now being treated with more respect. However, the plot I found to be weaker, even bound up with actual events and people of the time. I wonder also how a major plot point will fare in future books in this series if Sam's trip to the
