A very amusing story, this novel tells the exploits of a group of senior citizens - pensioners - who take it upon themselves to right society's wrongs in a Robin-Hood-type manner. They want to make life better for the poor, the poorly paid, and especially people who try to help others but don't receive a fair wage, such as health care workers.
