I think this is my favourite of the trilogy, but not for any reason I can pinpoint. Arden has always been particularly deft at switching between magic and historic dangers and plotlines, having the former influence the latter, or the latter occurring in spite of the former. I thought this was such a satisfying end to the trilogy. I didn't care much for all the fighting but the overarching story kept me going to the end.

The last in this epic trilogy. Enjoyed the entire series, Vasya's journey from heir of a witch to witch. This book had the final battle of the seen with the unseen. I loved that it included the actual battle of Kulikovo that took place in 1380 in Moscow. Nothing like some history mixed in with few demons to end an already brilliant story.
