I really enjoyed the first book, but this one felt rushed and it was too much of a downer, imo. The audio performance by the author was well done, though.

On to the next!

What a wonderful story! This book has wonderful characters and a gentle story that make you want to move to Mason, Missouri because it seems like the perfect small town. There are issues, though, that the characters have to work through, all of which are intriguing, happy, sad, satisfying, and much more. This is a great read!

Lovely, sweet, quick read. A nice followup to the Arthur Truluv title, though not quite as substantial. Satisfies the curiosity about what happens to Maddy and Lucille after the end of the first book. (Free ARC from Netgalley)
