**2.5 stars** I didn't enjoy Arimah's writing style. I found her sentence structure and syntax to be very confusing; I was often lost and didn't know who was who or what they were doing. A few of her stories had provocative concepts, like the title story in which she imagines a scifi-esque world where some people have the power to internalize the traumas, depression, anxiety, and pain of others so that those other people don't have to suffer.
