It was everywhere and I just had to request it from the library. Usually there is a long wait for a new book, but, no, it arrived the next day. I couldn’t leave it sitting there and risk having to return it before reading it, could I? No, I had to dive in.
And that’s what I did, dive in. There is no setting this book aside like I usually do with my books, the typical read-and-read-until-I-get-tired. No, I read and read this book until I fell asleep and then I started it again the next evening.

Very suspenseful and engrossing - to the point where I lost all track of time while listening to the audiobook version of this novel. It was Saturday night and the novel ended, and I suddenly realized it was after 3 am - it was that kind of book.
I liked the reader's voice and thought the audiobook version was awesome.
To a point, it was a bit too suspenseful and drawn out... even a tiny bit repetitive. But who cares? It kept my interest, informed and entertained me all at one time. There were pe ...more

I enjoyed this one. It's a psychological thriller, nothing that intense but I liked the whole story line. I liked how unique it is and that I didn't expect things to turn out the way they did.
This is about a child psychologist, Anne Fox. Anne suffers from a psychological disorder herself, agoraphobia -fear of places or situations. Her disorder doesn't allow her to leave the house and so she's stuck living her life though her neighbours by spying on them, until one day she sees (or thinks she se ...more

Three and a half stars.
When I started reading this book, I hated it. BORING! I thought the main character was a Gladys Kravitz, just a gossipy snoopy wine-drinking icky woman. I didn't like the occasional "what the he&$ is this author talking about" writing style Finn has at times... drives me nuts. I came so close to tossing this book.
It picks up around page 50 (large print), when she meets Ethan.
It went from 1 star to 5 stars from then on. I was intrigued. I had no idea how it was going to end ...more
