Page one we learn: (1) hero is 15 year old half-Cherokee boy from foster care; and (2) his female friend Rosemary has died. Page two: hero's Cherokee mother is an alcoholic, Dad is absent. Not a novel for me. I marked it "did not finish" without a rating. ...more
